Surviving Heart in Pink, Wall Decor Photo
Surviving Heart in Pink, Wall Decor Photo
In the eighties, a fire occurred in an old gas station. They cut a hole in the roof to insert a hose to put the fire out. That was the last time it was a gas station. The upstairs was gutted and re-dry-walled except for one dormer. I bought the building in 2004 for a gallery. The dormer still had fire-blackened walls. At one time, a heart-shaped object was on the wall. What happened to it, I have no Idea. It left a heart-shaped impression where the fire didn't touch. It is still there thirty-six years later. I call it the surviving heart.
I changed the color to pink for this print.
